Founder Profile
Todd Millman is the founder and operator of the Blue Radish Group - a collection of several retail shops, a corporate catering division and a wholesale commercial kitchen. The retail shops, mostly in mid-town Manhattan, were both stand-alone as well as ‘in- house eateries’ of the companies Bed, Bath & Beyond (their NYC flagship location) and Equinox Fitness Clubs. The shops are a group of fast-casual eateries serving high quality food focused on the executive market.
Experience
Todd credits his success to having grown up in an entrepreneurial family, and his strong business acumen, being able to learn both from his successes as well as near misses. His many years experience in the tough New York market can be credited to his ability to negotiate favorable deals and maintain excellent relationships for Class A retail space with several of New York’s top real estate firms including Tishman Speyer (1290 Avenue of the Americas) and Vornado Realty Trust (666 5th Avenue).
Process Driven
In addition to the retail shops, Todd has gone on to further develop ‘processed-driven’ businesses, including a corporate catering division located in mid-town Manhattan and a wholesale commercial kitchen located on Long Island City. The commercial kitchen produced and delivered several thousand food products a day within the tri-state area and to airports (JFK, LaGuardia and Philadelphia) food establishments, quickly becoming one of the top producers and providers in the vast market.
Todd took his decades of operational know how and success, and married it with the ever growing ‘tech’ world and founded Green Summit Group, a collection of virtual restaurants located in mid-town Manhattan, Brooklyn, Wall Street and Chicago. Green Summit Group was one of the first ever delivery-only concepts developed in the world. It comprised of more than 12 brands preparing and delivering high quality lunch and dinner from our several commercial kitchens. After successfully bringing Grub Hub in as a second round investor, they ultimately acquired the business
